Making a Difference: Investing in Students

Lakehead University provides it; you can play a role in it.  Supporting students is one of the best investments a donor could ever make.

 

Lakehead University strives to secure the resources needed to continue to put our students first.  As traditional funding sources are stretched to the limit, a giant step forward in private gifts is imperative to allow Lakehead to stay true to its mission and vision.

 

The Office of University Advancement website tells you how you can make a difference at Lakehead University, celebrates our many donors, and highlights our funding projects and priorities.

 

In September of 2008 Lakehead University announced that it will offer FREE TUITION to those students who, through their efforts at secondary school, have achieved a grade point average of 95% or greater.  This is an exclusive program in that no other university in Ontario rewards students with free tuition for four years.
